Interest in the Reggio Emilia approach is growing every year around the world: more and more educators consider this approach to education to be the most progressive. In Reggio Emilia, a city in northern Italy, all kindergartens operate in accordance with this approach. EdDesign Mag spoke with Reggio Children International Center President, Cristian Fabbi, about the "hundred languages" that every child possesses, the importance of continuous research and experimentation, why a classroom should look different in June than it does in October, and, finally, how the Reggio Emilia approach can transform and make the urban environment more comfortable and safe.
